<text>This stack creates icons pointing to all of your applications on your hard drive quickly and easily. If you are running under System 7, the icon will be the actual icon of the application. If you are running under System 6.X or lower, the icon will be the default application icon. When the stack first starts up, if your monitor is bigger than the default 512x342, it will ask you if you want to resize your stack. Click on OK, and let it run. It will resize the stack and change the placement of all the buttons. If your monitor is 512x342, it won't ask you anything. You first enter a screen that allows you to import your applications from the hard drive. Click on the "Clear program names" button first, then click on the "Load program names" button. It will ask you to specify the hard drive, and give you a default of the hard drive Hypercard is on. Either accept the default, or overtype with the name of another hard drive, and hit OK. Do this as many times as you need, specifying a different hard drive every time. It will append the new program names to the bottom of the field. When you've got all the program names loaded up, rearrange them as desired. The buttons will be created in the order of the lines in the field. If the maximum number of buttons per card has been exceeded, it will start a new card automatically. Where you want to start a new card, enter a blank line. For instance, you might have 10 program names, then a blank, then 40 game names. That would create a card with 10 program names, start a new card, and create as many cards as necessary to hold 40 game names. From now on, when you start up this program, it will bring you to the first application icon card. If you ever change your monitor size, it will ask you if you want to resize when you start up. Say "yes," and follow the steps above all over again. This stack will relieve the tedium for many Hypercard programmers out there who like to create their own "Launch" stack. It's especially great under System 7! Switch to System 7! You'll love it!--Cindy Carney</text>
